Music on the Mountain Returns for Sixth Season.

FAIRFIELD, PA. (May 22, 2024) – Liberty Mountain Resort, located near historic Gettysburg, PA, is thrilled to announce the return of “Music On The Mountain.” The free live music series, located at the base area of Liberty Mountain, will feature performances from talented local artists. Guests can bring their lawn chairs, relax on the lawn, soak in the music, and unwind in the beautiful outdoor setting.
“We were overwhelmed by all the amazing feedback from last year's event, so we had to bring Music On The Mountain back again this year,” said General Manager Chris Blackwell. “We love hosting fun, family-friendly experiences for our community and are excited to offer a free event where families and friends can come together and create some awesome memories with us this summer.”
Music on the Mountain will be held 5-8 p.m. Wednesday nights from May 29- June 26 with music beginning at 6 p.m. A special Independence Day Music On The Mountain will be held on July 4. The event will end with an amazing firework display that is set off from the top of the mountain. Admission to Music On The Mountain is free.
Featured entertainment includes Dan Jamison Trio May 29, Leaping Luci June 5, Chris Sacks Band June 12, Lucid Ruby June 19, Blind Accuracy June 26, The Few July 4 (plus Fireworks).
In addition to the fantastic music lineup, the event will feature yard games like corn hole, giant Jenga, and sidewalk chalk. Liberty’s slopeside outdoor pool will be open to the public from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
The BBQ Deck will be open from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. with hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ brisket, and more along with a variety of beverages. Guests looking for a sit-down dining experience can visit the resort’s on-site restaurant Eagle and The Owl.
