TONY SANTORA BIO
Tony Santora brings a strong background in public service, emergency preparedness, and business management. Tony embarked on his career journey with Vail Resorts in 2018 as Resort Operations Manager at Park City, Utah. There he honed his skills and climbed the ranks to Senior Manager of Building Maintenance and Village Operations.
In 2022, Tony took on the role of General Manager at Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Missouri. Tony leveraged his leadership style, where he cultivated and strengthened relationships with government officials and community leaders. His unwavering dedication to our core value, FUN, led the Hidden Valley to attain the highest Guest Experience Scores in the Midwest. In addition, Tony’s strategic evaluation of Hidden Valley’s snowmaking process, coupled with a refined approach, resulted in a noteworthy increase in operating days. Hidden Valley was closed for only one day last season, a significant accomplishment for a ski resort in the Midwest.
Before his venture into the ski resort industry, Tony served as a Sergeant with the Utah State Parks Law Enforcement Rangers, stationed at Jordanelle State Park. His expertise extended to managing Rockport State Park as a Park Manager. Tony's proficiency in emergency preparedness was further demonstrated through his role as an experienced Emergency Vehicle Operations and Scenarios Instructor for Utah POST. A Utah native, Tony is a proud graduate of the University of Utah, where he earned his M.B.A. from the esteemed David Eccles School of Business. With a passion for excellence and a proven track record, Tony continues to leave an indelible mark in his diverse professional pursuits. In his role as General Manager of Jack Frost Big Boulder, Tony embodies the spirit of leadership, innovation, and dedication.
