Fifth Annual Seven Springs Rib & Wing Festival, July 25-27, 2014

SEVEN SPRINGS, Pa.– Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Pennsylvania’s outdoor adventure headquarters, announces its fifth annual Rib & Wing Festival, July 25-27, 2014!

This mouth-watering, finger-lickin’-good festival features ribs and wings of all styles from BG’s BBQ, Smokin' Joe’s Hog Wild Barbecue, Pigfoot BBQ, Mojo's Rib Shack and Armadillo’s BBQ & Rib Company, including dry rubbed, saucy, brined, hot, sweet and hot, garlic and butter, the list goes on!

Enjoy lip smacking ribs and wings, live music, games, crafts, a beer garden and for the kids, there will be face-painting, kids’ crafts, temporary tattoos and sand art, all at the base of the mountain.

Some of the region’s best bands and headliners including Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers, Scott Blasey of The Clarks and Chris Higbee will perform during this three-day festival! Thirteen bands will serve up nearly 20 hours of music varying from classic rock and country to blues and oldies. Additional scheduled performers include Tres Lads, Junction PA and The Joseph Sisters.

While this event does provide plenty of traditional festival favorites, the Seven Springs Rib & Wing Festival offers an abundance of fun and adventure that other regional events do not. For instance, guests can ride the Alpine Slide or do summer tubing between rounds of ribs, climb the Rock Wall, zip along the treetops on the Laurel Ridgeline Canopy Tour or Screaming Hawk Zipline, or try out a Segway tour.

Weekend lodging packages that include festival tickets and breakfast are available. For more information or to make your reservations, please call (866) 437-1300 or click here.

Admission to the festival is $7 per person and children age 11 and under are free! Tickets can be purchased at the gate the day of the event. Admission does not include food. Parking is free and the lots will be serviced by resort shuttles. Festival hours are 4-9 p.m., Friday; 11 a.m.- 9 p.m., Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday.
