Offering Free Admission to Military Members and Family
TANNERSVILLE, PA – Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark will open for the 15th year on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Memorial Day is considered the beginning of summer, but the true meaning of the holiday, formally known as Decoration Day, commemorates all men and women, who have died in military service for the United States.
This year, Camelbeach will be saying “thank you” to the servicemen and women and their families for the daily sacrifices they are making by offering free admission to the waterpark with proper identification. The policy states that all military personnel who are active, reserve, retired or disabled veterans and spouse/ dependents with valid government-issued military ID cards are eligible for the promotion. The policy is also posted on the website (http://www.camelbeach.com/Military-Policy.aspx).
"We really wanted to do something special for our military families this year,” said Arthur Berry III, president and chief executive officer, Camelback Mountain Resort. Berry continued, “We are looking forward to a great summer and this is a positive way for us to start the season.”
