Hidden Valley Resort Welcomes A Snowy Forecast And Family Snowblast Jan. 24 - 27

Hidden Valley, PA – Hidden Valley Resort, KDKA-TV and The Pittsburgh’s CW are joining forces for the fifth annual Family SnowBlast at the resort Jan. 24 – 27, 2013. This four-day event kicks-off with a 5 -7 p.m. bonfire tomorrow at the Ski Lodge and continues through Sunday with games, parties and activities.

“With snow in the forecast, this is a great opportunity to bring the entire family to Hidden Valley to be active in the outdoors,” Laura Argenbright,  Hidden Valley’s marketing manager said. “Even if you don’t ski or snowboard, you can go snow tubing or participate in the activities.”

Hidden Valley will be featured with live coverage on the morning show Pittsburgh Today Live airing at 9 am on Friday. KDKA television personalities Kristine Sorensen, Jon Burnett, Jennifer Antkowiak and Ross Guidotti will be on hand to play host to several of the family events. Guests can look forward to activities such as the J & D Waterproofing Frozen T-shirt Contest, The Treasure Hunt Coins Gold Mine and The Price is Right, among others. Children can also enjoy a SnowBlast  Party 6 – 8 p.m. Friday evening and  the On-Cor Snowtubing Party 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday.

The Family Life Fund “Fun Zone” will be located in the Southridge Room in the Ski Lodge to benefit Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

While on-snow events require a valid ski/board lift ticket or tubing pass, all other events are free.
