SEVEN SPRINGS, Pa. – Join the summer fun as Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Pennsylvania’s outdoor adventure headquarters, hosts its third annual Rib & Wing Festival, July 27– 29, 2012!
This mouth-watering, finger-lickin’-good festival will feature ribs and wings of all sizes and tastes from Smokin' Joe’s Hog Wild Barbecue, Pigfoot BBQ, Mojo's Rib Shack, Armadillo’s BBQ and Rib Company and Texas Outlaw BBQ, including dry rubbed, saucy, brined, hot, sweet and hot, garlic and butter, the list goes on!
Enjoy lip smacking ribs and wings, musical entertainment, games, crafters and a beer garden. Watch as Seven Springs lights up the mountain with a spectacular fireworks display by Zambelli Fireworks after dusk, Fri., July 27. Don’t forget about the Kids' Zone with arts, crafts and games for the youngsters.
Some of the region’s best bands and headliners including Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers, Scott Blasey of The Clarks, The Bill Deasy Band and Chris Higbee will perform during this three-day festival! Twelve bands will serve up nearly 20 hours of music varying from classic rock and country to blues to Motown. Additional scheduled performers include Steeltown, Gil Snyder and the Mystic Knights, Jill West and the Blues Attack, and Tres Lads.
Weekend lodging packages are available. The Rib & Wing Festival lodging package starts at just $179 per person, based on double occupancy, and includes two nights of lodging with complimentary breakfast, access to indoor and outdoor pools and one ticket per guest to all three days the Rib & Wing Festival! Admission to the festival is $7 per person and children age 12 and under are free! Tickets can also be purchased at the gate the day of the event. Admission does not include food. Parking is free and the lots will be serviced by resort shuttles. Festival hours are 4-9 p.m., Friday; 11 a.m.- 9 p.m., Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday.
