Seven Springs Mountain Resort Presents Laurel Ridgeline Canopy Tours

New Canopy Tour Offers Excitement and
Access to Breathtaking Views of the Laurel Highlands

SEVEN SPRINGS, Pa. –  Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Pennsylvania’s outdoor adventure
headquarters, will unveil its much anticipated new attraction, the Laurel Ridgeline Canopy
Tours, May 25, 2012.

Constructed to fit into the natural landscape in perfect harmony with Mother Nature, Seven
Springs’ new canopy tour will provide riders with a heart-racing, pulse-pounding adventure and
an educational experience as they soar up to 150-feet in the air at maximum speeds of 50 miles
per hour. The tour consists of two air stairs, treetops of varying in height from 50 to 80-feet, 10
ziplines ranging in length from 145-feet to the grand finale of the Timberline Terror, 1,500-feet
of zip 150-feet in the air!

“Our Laurel Ridgeline Canopy Tours were designed to be a highly-interactive experience that
will connect our guests with nature in a breathtaking and awe inspiring environment,” said
Seven Springs Chief Executive Officer Eric Mauck. “Our partnership with Bonsai Design
Incorporated, the industry leader in canopy and zipline design, has added a world class canopy
tour to our ever growing list of amenities. The Laurel Ridgeline Canopy Tours further
demonstrates Seven Springs’ commitment to our goal of being the region’s premier family
vacation destination.”

Tours are limited to groups of eight participants escorted by two professionally-trained guides.
All Guides must pass a rigorous 70+ hour training and a written exam prior to taking any
groups on a tour. On-going training hours are also required. Safety is the top priority! Each tour
begins with a training session that includes the fundamental tasks of a canopy tour like proper
equipment handling, speed control, braking and entrance and exit procedures.

Tours are available on the hour from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., weather permitting, beginning Friday, May
25, 2012. Tours are approximately four hours in length, depending on the number of
participants in the group and are $95 per person. Reservations are strongly recommended but
walk-ins are accepted based on availability. For reservations or more information, please call
800-452-2223, ext. 7905.

Seven Springs has also created an overnight getaway package that features the Laurel
Ridgeline Canopy Tours. The package starts at $177 per person, based on double occupancy
and includes overnight lodging, breakfast and one four-hour canopy tour per guest. For
additional information or for reservations, please call (866) 437-1300.
