Hidden Valley Golf Club Opens

HIDDEN VALLEY GOLF CLUB OPEN
Golf club offering spring rates through May 27

Hidden Valley, PA – To the delight of the area’s eager golfers, spring has finally arrived in Western Pennsylvania and the staff at Hidden Valley Resort’s Golf Club is ready to welcome guests for the 2011 season.

“This championship golf course has seen many improvements over the past few years,” Hidden Valley’s PGA club professional, Craig Yutzy, said. “The course conditions continue to improve every year. Most recently, we have undertaken a major sand bunker renovation project. All of the bunkers will be reshaped and new drainage and sand will be added.”

Hidden Valley is offering discounted spring green fees through May 27. Golfers can enjoy 18-holes with a cart rental for only $29 on weekdays (Monday – Friday) and $39 on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) through April 30. Regular rates take effect May 28.

Golfers can save all season-long with the Tuesday Special where a foursome can play 18-holes with a cart on Hidden Valley’s championship course for only $99. Group rates and discounts for seniors and military personnel are also available, as well as several membership options.

Hidden Valley is an ideal place for golfers to learn and improve their skills. Clinics, private lessons and junior golf camps are offered throughout the summer and feature instruction from the resort’s PGA professional Craig Yutzy.

“It gives me great satisfaction to see my students improve after taking a lesson,” Yutzy said. “Golfers at any level can benefit from a class or camp.”

Junior camp dates are July 6 – 8, July 13 – 15, July 20 – 22 and July 27 – 29 and are open to boys and girls ages 8 – 17.

The Hidden Valley Golf Club’s highly-rated mountaintop course is available for outings, leagues and tournaments.

For individuals seeking spring golf getaways, Hidden Valley offers lodging packages pairing rooms in the Four Seasons Lodges with the resort’s golfing amenities. For the second year, Hidden Valley Resort and Seven Springs Mountain Resort have joined forces to offer the Laurel Highlands Golf Package through which golfers have the opportunity to stay at Hidden Valley and play 18-holes on the resort’s championship course and also play 18-holes at nearby Seven Springs.
