Whitetail Resort celebrates National Slope Safety Week

National Slope Safety week - January 15 - 22, 2011

The Whitetail Resort and Safety Department is committed to making your visit a safe and enjoyable outdoor winter activity. The Ski Patrol, Mountain Safety Team, Park and Pipe Team and the Clinic Staff make up the Whitetail Safety Department. At Whitetail, safety comes first for all of our guests and employees. The resort has put in place programs that promote the safety of everyone on the mountain as well as educate our guests on the importance of snow sports safety.
Please help us celebrate Slope Safety Week.

PLAY IT SAFE stations will be set up over the mountain on January 15th, 16th and 22nd. Stop by and talk with one of our Safety Department representatives.

During the week Repeat at least three elements of the Responsibility Code to a Mountain Safety, Ski Patroller or Park and Pipe member and get an extra hour on your lift ticket.

Poster Contest for 4th, 5th and 6th graders. Pick up entry at Guest Services or any of the information booths.  The Kids Mountain Camp will also have entries. Local winner to be submitted to National Competition.

Play It Safe Tours, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the top of Sidewinder and in the Terrain Park. Tours on Saturday and Sunday, January 15 & 16 as well as Saturday the 22nd. Ski/Board with a Safety Team Member and be eligible to win a FREE Lift Ticket.
