Two-Day Wine & Food Festival To Be Held On April 14 & 15
MACUNGIE, PA. This is not your average wine festival! A new two-day wine and food festival is planned for April 14 and 15 at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. In addition to the wine festival, a four course wine dinner, poolside port tasting and farmers market are also scheduled. Guests can attend all events or pick and choose which suit their interest.
Wine Weekend Events:
Four Course Wine Pairing Dinner ($75 per person)
April 13 at 6:30pm in the Mountain Ballroom Taste, Savor and Learn: Guests will join wine expert Terry Balent to taste and discuss the fine wines of Italy and France. Wine will be paired with an exquisite menu prepared by Executive Chef Michael Greenstein. Advanced reservations are required. Reservations should be made

Wine Festival- The Grand Tasting
April 14 from 1-5pm
Guests will taste the wines of 18 wineries and 11 specialty food vendors. Morning and
afternoon seminars explore topics like the health benefits of wine, raising your own grapes,
table scaping and mixology. A.M. & P.M. seminars are free with purchase of a VIP tasting ticket.
Jeff Umbehauer will be performing live music during the event.
Poolside Port Tasting ($15 per person)
April 14 at 6pm at the outdoor pool
Guests will taste 4-5different types of port from tawny to ruby,paired with an appropriate
chocolate, nut, fig, orcheese. Live music will be played on the outdoor pool deck. Advanced

Wine Festival- The Gourmet Tasting
April 15 from 1-5pm
Guests will taste the wines of 17 wineries, 11 specialty food vendors and an outdoor farmers
market. Morning and afternoon seminars explore topics like cooking with wine, the fine art of
cheese, the art of crystal and glass with expert Peter Yenawine, table scaping and mixology.
A.M. & P.M. seminars are free with purchase of a VIP tasting ticket. RED, Jimmy Meyer & Steve
Brosky will be performing live music during the event.
Pricing:
• VIP Tasting Ticket: $40 per person/ per tasting session
(Includes a.m. & p.m. seminars and either the Grand or Gourmet tasting.)
• Regular Admission: $25 per person/ per tasting session
(Includes some seminars and either the Grand or Gourmet tasting.)
• Poolside Port Tasting: $15 per person
• FourCourse Wine Pairing Dinner: $75 per person (excludes tax and gratuity)

Weekend Getaway
Starting at just $235 for two guests, this package includes an overnight stay at The Hotel at Bear
