MACUNGIE, PA – Bear Creek Mountain Resort has taken advantage of the cold temperatures and is open for skiing and riding Sunday, December 30. Opening day lift tickets are being sold for just $10 throughout the day and the mountain will operate with regular hours of operation, 8:30am to 10:00pm.

SEVEN SPRINGS, PA., Dec. 14, 2012 – Seven Springs Mountain Resort and Burton Snowboards are excited to announce that as a part of the next chapter of the 2013 Burton US Open, the qualifying rounds will become a stand-alone, East Coast event called the Burton US Open Snowboarding Qualifiers presented by MINI. Created in association with long-time partner U.S. Snowboarding, the new US Open Qualifiers will take place during a U.S. Revolution Tour stop from February 1-3, 2013 at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania, a resort that has a long heritage of supporting and progressing snowboarding.
